the show other than those from the dollar stores and the 2 that have been put out by the SHOUT! Factory company?
The show was already off the air before I was born and I thought "The Adventures Of Ozzie and Harriet" was just another "'50's shows" that really did nothing to make anyone my age want to watch it . . . until my daughter bought me a DVD of 5 shows (this was two years ago). Since that time, I've tried to find every show available.
I've become a die-hard Rick fan and have all the legit CDs as well as some "imports" - but I'm I've never stopped looking for anything new.
I do not understand why the Nelson family will not put the show out as a per-season boxed set just like thousands of others have. I realize one season of "The Adventures' had quite a few more episodes than those of today's TV shows - but I'm willing to bet the fans would be happy to pay a few extra $$ for GOOD copies of the show. I've read that Ozzie used cameras and operators that some movie companies (at the time) wouldn't even use because of the costs involved! There HAS to be good prints out there . . . who owns them? David?
Well - if anyone has clips/shows of Rick, please let me know. I saw two "videos" on UTube and I was blown away. I had never seen "Don't make promises" or "I catch myself crying" and it was great finding them. "She belongs to me" was great as well - an early music video! Why will someone not take charge and put these things together for the fans?
Dave's "A brother remembers" and "Easy to be free" SHOULD be on DVD. Why aren't they?
Oh well . . . I guess I'm done complaining. Just keep Rick's memory alive and I appreciate the work that Dave, Tracey, Sam and the twins have done for their father. I just hope MORE is done!
What do you think?
